Offline play and device storage

You can play without creating a ProjectR account. The app stores your career, custom team and driver names, results, preferences and tutorial status on your iPhone. Local backup copies may be created to protect a career during save recovery or cloud restoration. The app includes no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Optional Apple services

Sign in with Apple

If you choose Apple sign-in, the app stores the Apple user identifier and the name Apple supplies in your iPhone’s Keychain. It requests your name, not your email address. The profile is used locally for your principal identity. ProjectR does not operate a separate login server.

iCloud career sync

If you turn on iCloud sync, the app uploads your career—including custom names, progression and race data—to a private CloudKit database associated with your iCloud account. A save timestamp and general device model are included to help identify a save. Local sync preferences include an iCloud account identifier, comparison hashes and last-sync time. Sync does not require the optional Apple profile. We do not operate a separate career-save server.

Game Center

If you connect Game Center, the app uses Apple’s GameKit service to authenticate your player and display your Game Center name and dashboard. Your Game Center account is managed by Apple.

Apple processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. Device backups, diagnostics you choose to share with Apple, and Apple-account retention are governed by Apple’s settings and services.

Purchases

Apple processes World Expansion purchases. ProjectR checks verified StoreKit transactions and purchase entitlements to provide or restore access. We do not receive your payment card details. Purchase history and refunds are managed by Apple.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer requests, investigate bugs and manage related follow-up. Cloudflare Email Routing and our destination email provider process delivery. We retain correspondence as needed to resolve the request, handle related issues or meet legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of correspondence; some information may need to be retained where legally required.

This website

Cloudflare hosts and delivers these pages. It processes request information such as IP address, browser information and security logs to operate and protect its network. This site adds no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, contact-form database or marketing cookies. Email links open your email app. External links are governed by their providers’ policies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Your choices and deletion

• Play offline and leave optional Apple services disconnected.
• Remove the locally stored Apple profile from ProjectR’s Settings → Apple player. This leaves your local career and iCloud save intact. Manage ProjectR’s Apple authorization separately in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Sign in with Apple.
• Turn off iCloud sync to stop future syncing. This does not delete an existing cloud save.
• Removing the app removes its local app-container data, but Keychain items, iCloud saves and device backups may remain. Remove the Apple profile before uninstalling if you want to clear its local Keychain item. Manage available iCloud app storage and backups through Apple’s settings. Email us for help with data controls; we cannot access your Apple password or directly administer your private Apple account.
• Request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence by emailing support. Available rights depend on applicable law.

ProjectR retains a local career until it is replaced or removed. Private cloud data remains until removed through available Apple or app controls. Profile removal, app removal and data requests do not cancel or refund an App Store purchase.

Children and personal information

ProjectR does not require a child to submit personal information to play offline. Do not enter sensitive personal information into custom team or driver names. A parent or guardian may contact support about a child’s information that was sent to us.

Security and updates

The app uses iOS storage protection, Keychain for its optional Apple profile, and Apple’s services for cloud saves and transactions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change; the effective date above will reflect the latest version.
